Статтю присвячено аналізу еволюції поняття «територія» як фундаментальної категорії політичної науки. Від початкових уявлень про територію як простір виживання й ресурсу для ранніх спільнот до класичної вестфальської моделі територіального суверенітету, вона поступово трансформувалася у ключову політичну категорію, що визначає архітектуру міжнародного порядку. Досліджено, як територія переосмислюється в умовах сучасних гібридних конфліктів, де боротьба ведеться одночасно у фізичному, інформаційному та кібернетичному просторах. Стаття доводить, що сучасне розуміння території виходить далеко за межі географічних і правових дефініцій. Вона перетворюється на політичний конструкт, який поєднує суверенітет, ідентичність, безпеку та глобальні мережеві взаємодії.
