АСИМЕТРІЯ МІЖНАРОДНИХ ВІДНОСИН В РАМКАХ КОНЦЕПТУАЛЬНОГО ПОЛЯ ЛІБЕРАЛЬНОЇ ТЕОРІЇ

У статті досліджуються концепти асиметрії в рамках ліберальної традиції. Акцентується увага на тому, як міжнародна співпраця, ліберальний інституціоналізм, економічна залежність і теорія демократичного миру вирішують питання диспропорції в міждержавних відносинах. Розглянуто критичні зауваження на адресу ліберальної теорії міжнародних відносин та продемонстровано її цінність для розуміння міжнародних відносин. Асиметрія в міжнародних відносинах є стійким явищем, яке формує взаємодію між державами різної сили, ресурсів і впливу. Тоді як реалістичні та конструктивістські підходи часто наголошують на ролі дисбалансу влади та формування ідентичності, ліберальна теорія забезпечує детальну основу для аналізу асиметрії через інституційну співпрацю, економічну взаємозалежність та поширення демократичних норм. Особлива увага приділяється тому, як ліберальна парадигма пояснює нерівномірний розподіл впливу між державами, зростання глобальної нерівності та роль міжнародних організацій у регулюванні асиметричних відносин. Піднімається питання критики ліберальної теорії з боку реалізму, підкреслюючи, що ліберальні механізми, незважаючи на їх прогресивний характер, не завжди ефективно усувають міжнародні дисбаланси, а в ряді випадків можуть сприяти їхньому поглибленню. Попри прагнення лібералізму створити систему рівноправних відносин між державами, асиметрія є об’єктивною реальністю та невід’ємним елементом сучасних міжнародних відносин.
