INTERACTION OF STATE AUTHORITIES AND THE PUBLIC IN THE CONTEXT OF DECENTRALIZATION REFORM IN UKRAINE

The article deals with the process of decentralization of power as a transfer of a large part of powers to local governments. The importance of citizens in addressing local issues through the formation of united territorial communities is highlighted. The perspective of building and development of civil society through active involvement of citizens in the process of decision-making and implementation of local self-government bodies. The article talks about the tools of financial decentralization in the united territorial communities. The author emphasizes the possibilities of involving the public in the creation and implementation of new projects at the local level together with the local authorities.
