This article explores contemporary issues of charismatic leadership. In the information age, image formation technologies are used to create a charismatic image of a leader. Information technologies make it possible to create an artificial image of politicians, which is widely distributed among citizens. To achieve political leadership, especially during an election campaign, the most attractive image for voters is formed. The visualization of political life increases the role of external characteristics that dominate the content of the political program. To achieve political leadership, which is especially charismatic, it is necessary to be guided by the politics of perception and actively use information technologies.
