EASTERN PARTNERSHIP POLICY: CHALLENGES AND PERSPECTIVES FOR UKRAINE

The basic principles and priorities of Eastern partnership policy as original continuation of European politics of neighbourhood are analyzed in the article. It is marked that this project is sent to deepening of integration between the European Union and six countries of East Europe, on providing of stability in a region. Eastern partnership programme appears a certain step forward on the way of eurointegration aspirations of Ukraine. A new initiative gives more possibilities to Ukraine to play a leading role among the east neighbours of EU and lay the own way to membership in the European Union.
