Abstract

The article is dedicated to analyzing the process of Moldovan political system formation in 1991–2001. The author defined the place of cabinets in the context of semi-presidentialism in Moldova, analyzed constructions of party (one-party and coalition) and nonparty (technocratic) cabinets, described the difference between them in context of premier-presidential semi-presidentialism, and examined causes of Moldovan political system transformation in direction of parliamentarism.
