UNITED TERRITORIAL COMMUNITIES: THE EXPERIENCE OF THE COUNTRIES OF THE CARPATHIAN EUROREGION

This article examines the different approaches to the establishment and functioning of amalgamated territorial communities (ATCs) in the countries of the Carpathian Euroregion. The article recognizes the national peculiarities of each country, but emphasizes the existence of general principles and recommendations that may be useful for other states. Particular attention is paid to a structured approach to the formation of ATCs, taking into account the interests of the local population and promoting the development of local initiatives. It is noted that the results obtained can make a significant contribution to improving the system of territorial governance in the region, as well as create prerequisites for sustainable socio-economic development. This article proves that each country has its own approach to the creation and functioning of ATCs, but there are common principles and recommendations that may be useful for other countries. The article highlights the current problems of the formation and functioning of ATCs in the context of the Carpathian Euroregion, providing a valuable informational contribution to improving the efficiency of local governance and regional development.
