POLITICAL VALUES AS THE BASIS OF THE POLITICAL CULTURE OF SOCIETY

The article analyzes political values as the basis of the political culture of society. It is noted that political values are a set of political ideas, landmarks, perceptions, and knowledge that guide and motivate political activity and the behavior of political subjects. The main methodological approaches to the study of political values are analyzed, in particular, activity-based, cultural-based, etc. It is noted that political culture is an element of the political system, which in the process of spiritual and practical activity of an individual or society as a whole produces a system of values, needs, views, interests, knowledge. It is emphasized that political culture determines the level of political consciousness, behavior of the state, society and individuals.
