THE IMPACT OF THE VOLUNTEER MOVEMENT ON THE RESILIENCE AND SECURITY OF UKRAINIAN SOCIETY IN THE CONTEXT OF CONTEMPORARY THREATS

The article is devoted to the analysis of the volunteer movement as one of the key factors in strengthening the resilience and security of Ukrainian society in the face of contemporary challenges. The study examines the socio-political and security-related aspects of volunteer activity, its impact on social cohesion, the formation of civic identity, and the enhancement of trust between the state and civil society. Special attention is paid to the role of volunteer initiatives in overcoming crisis situations, particularly under conditions of military threats and humanitarian challenges. The contribution of the volunteer movement to ensuring social stability, supporting the state’s defense capability, and strengthening internal security is analyzed. The article also outlines potential risks and limitations of volunteer activity, as well as the need for its institutionalization and coordination by the state. The study concludes that the development of partnership-based interaction between state institutions and the volunteer sector is a prerequisite for increasing the resilience and security of Ukrainian society.
