In contemporary academic discourse, the issue of understanding European identity, along with its ideological, political, and ethical transformations, has gained particular relevance in the context of global challenges and crises. The reviewed work by Milan Katuninec, “Europe on the Move: Research of Ideas, Ethics and Politics in European History,” represents a fundamental study that offers a comprehensive vision of Europe’s development as a dynamic process shaped by the interaction of ideas, ethics, and politics. The monograph provides an opportunity to rethink historical experience not merely as a sequence of events, but as a coherent intellectual and moral project. This approach is especially significant in the Ukrainian context, where current events intensify the discourse on belonging to the European value space and on Ukraine’s role in its transformation
