Abstract

The article is devoted to the conceptualization of translation transformations of linguopolitical synergetics and to the establishment of their typology within the linguistics of crisis medicine. This study addresses the problem of the interlingual representation of crisis-medical knowledge, which, despite the active development of medical, military-medical, humanitarian, and crisis translation, remains insufficiently theorized in Translation Studies. The analysis of scholarly sources demonstrates that existing approaches are predominantly focused on particular aspects of medical translation, whereas the system of translation transformations characteristic of crisis-medical discourse has not yet received comprehensive theoretical substantiation. Based on an analysis of the works of Ukrainian and international scholars, a theoretical gap was identified, which led to the need to form a new model for describing the mechanisms of functioning of this phenomenon. Drawing upon the principles of linguopolitical synergetics and the linguistics of crisis medicine, translation transformations are for the first time conceptualized as a system of interlingual transformations operating at the macro-level of the language of crisis medicine, the meso-level of military-medical and wartimemedical discourses, and the micro-level of corresponding communicative practices. The article addresses a range of issues related to the functioning of translational self-organization, functional-semantic amplification, linguistic autocatalysis, linguistic turbulence, semantic bifurcation, linguistic attractors, and translation entropy in crisis-medical discourse. The distinction between these processes reflects different models of representing specialized knowledge under conditions of intercultural interaction. The study demonstrates that translation decisions in crisis-medical discourse are not absolute; rather, they are subject to continuous adaptation under the influence of linguistic, discursive, cognitive, and pragmatic factors. Translational selforganization ensures the ordering and stabilization of the system, whereas functional-semantic amplification contributes to the expansion of the communicative potential of a message. Linguistic autocatalysis facilitates the emergence of new terminological equivalents; linguistic turbulence and semantic bifurcation reflect the variability of translation decisions; linguistic attractors provide relative stability to models of interlingual representation; and translation entropy preserves a certain degree of semantic indeterminacy. Furthermore, the conceptualization of translation transformations has enabled the development of an integrated theoretical model within which the translation of crisis-medical discourse is understood as an open, nonlinear process of intersystemic, interlingual, and intercultural interaction. The proposed approach provides a foundation for the theoretical substantiation of a synergetic theory of crisis-medical discourse translation and outlines the contours of a new research paradigm in contemporary Translation Studies.
